Our investment into the Gerber Juice business is an exciting return to a sector that we have many years of experience in. The newly established facilities will have the capability of processing one million liters of product on a monthly basis.
As the name suggests, IBCO specialises in the manufacturing of bread pans for plant bakeries. IBCO also applies a variety of coating solutions and is South Africa's only specialist in Fluoropolymer Bakeware oil-free coatings.
AST is a renewable energy business that provides specialised solutions to complex installations that require both sophisticated design (both engineering and financial) as well as world class equipment.
We support and assist our management partners, who derive significant benefit not only from our involvement, but also as a result of being part of the broader GGG family of businesses. As a result, the starting point for any investment decision making process, is an evaluation into two simple factors: first, will the management team fit into and thrive in a GGG environment; and second, are we able to add value.
Unlike many traditional private equity firms, GGG does not take on third party investment funding and also, the group does not invest with an exit strategy in mind. Aligned with our mindset of creating old school partnerships, we typically remain invested for the long term, with some of our investments going back over 35 years.
